As supermarkets are trying their best to get us to buy the fresh produce, only the best-looking ones are selected and many of them end up in the bin. To tackle this problem, a special catering services Culinary Misfits is formed. It uses only fruits and vegetables that don’t fit in the beauty standard of supermarkets and restaurants. These odd-looking ingredients are not aesthetically-pleasing, but are as delicious as other food that we normally find. It provides a solution to the waste issue as well as creating visually striking dishes.
